March 27, 2011

Hubby and I went to Beaufort and Hunting Island, SC, last Sunday for the first time. The weather man said it was going to be 80, but he was SEW wrong. It was barely above 60 and gale force winds. We did see enough of the area to make us want to go back on a nicer day.

650 RED AND WHITE QUILTS
This is an unbelievable display! Wouldn’t you love to see it in person?!?!?

GATHERED ROUND BASKET
This is a very cute, very easy, basket for all kind of uses!

QUILTER’S CADDY
Another quick project with lots of uses.

TOO BAD WE DON’T GET SNOW IN GEORGIA
This is a great tutorial for dying fabric using snow – of all things! Does a beautiful dye job. Sure wish we could try it here!

ONE QUILTER’S ORGANIZATION METHOD (She happens to be from ALASKA!)
I may have to try this. Anything would be an improvement over the mess I have.

LOTS OF FREE PATTERNS
I was looking for a pattern for chemo caps and came upon this site. LOTS of good stuff here.

NEW BOM
This is a quilted dollhouse and should be very cute. She has the fabric requirements and block 1 (front door) ready for download.
